Petition for a better deal for dogs in Wellington, New Zealand

As Wellington City Council decides on the Dog Policy for the next few years, there’s a petition for improved status for dogs.

Doug is founding an organisation, the working title of which is an acronym, DAWGS, short for Dogs Are Wellington’s Secret.

The petition to give dogs more space in Trelissick Park in Wellington, New Zealand closes on 10 October 2009.

Wellington City Council still don’t like dogs. Take a look at the new draft policy, and make a submission to the Council.

The Wellington City Council is about to begin consulting the public about dogs and dog facilities in the city.

Bins were accepted without damage, were well used and the parks gradually became cleaner.
