This site is intended to bring together useful factual information to help us lobby for a fair go for our dogs.

Sometimes dogs get a poor shake of the stick.

Where I live, in Wellington, New Zealand, for example, there are dog parks, but they are really just scrappy bits of land the Council has no other use for. Sometimes the parks are beside a busy road, with no barriers, for example.

There are reviews of dog parks at Run Spot Run — take a look.

Other times, dogs are unfairly restricted, needlessly banned, or given an undeserved bad reputation.

Note: thanks to spammers, comments are closed until around mid-January 2010.

There are thousands of dogs in New Zealand who desperately need the help of caring people to lobby the Minister of Agriculture, and MAF to stop people keeping them in cruel conditions, permanently chained or kept in a cage (kennel and run)

Please look at our blog, and then help us with our efforts to get the law changed and put an end to the daily cruelty to dogs which is happening right now in suburban gardens all over New Zealand
